DAVAO CITY – All 326 personnel of the Philippine Army’s 10th Infantry Division have tested negative for illegal drug use.

Speaking before the Asean Business and Investment Summit on Wednesday in Laos, Marcos made the pitch for the Philippines as an ideal hub for smart and sustainable manufacturing.

Memorandum Order No. 43 will be in force immediately.

According to Major Ruben Gadut, 10ID spokesperson, this was the result of the mandatory drug testing done last Jan. 2 among the soldiers in Camp General Manuel Yan Station Hospital in Mawab, Davao de Oro.

Out of the 21 regular troops, eight were immediately discharged while the 13 are still waiting for their discharge orders, Gadut told the Inquirer.
